Keyword Winner Review

New Keyword Winner – an SEO plugin for WordPress – Targets blog keywords to help improve your SEO ranking

What looks different with this keyword tool is that it does not promise to drive thousands of visitors to your site, that’s a good thing because the developer is not promising something it can’t deliver, but it is likely to do just that. Although you do have to do a little work to support it, it seems very easy to use and looks like a very exciting plugin to drive traffic to your blog(s).

Keyword Winner is a paid plugin for your blog(s) that helps you zoom in on your preferred target market by setting up your blog posts and pages to reach that target market. When you start a page or post you just click on the button to find the most suitable keywords for you. Watch the video (enable audio) to see for yourself. I think you will be pleasantly surprised, because the developer actually shows you what it does! I think it is really cool. If you have multiple blogs you can buy an unlimited licence, which I think is a fantastic idea.

I am currently reviewing this tool, at first glance it could be very effective. If you found this page it has worked :)  Keep an eye out for this page for the results I have noticed over the next 4 weeks of my Keyword Winner review. See Keyword Winner review below.

Free Mass Traffic Review

I thought I would try something new this week, hopefully I will have the time to spend on reviewing this product and give you a true and honest idea whether it really works.

The new traffic (bringing in leads) tool is called Free Mass Traffic. Of course the product isn’t free but it supposedly generates tonnes of free traffic to any chosen site, with examples of millions of unique visitors in a week for one website.

Today, I bought the software and have given myself 30 days to review Free Mass Traffic and decide if it works.  The owner, Chris, says it should pay off very quickly. Within 7 days in fact, but we will see if that actually is the case. Time will tell.

I have downloaded all the installation and training videos and PDF files and am ready to go. So keep an eye out for this page, because I am going to come back and update it regularly with my frustrations and hopefully exciting news of making some significant $$$ without working my butt off :)

Ok, so I have done my review on Free Mass Traffic and here is my verdict.

12 Quick Tips To Search Google Like An Expert

I came across another interesting article today on Hubspot and thought I would share it with you. Now this comes pretty natural to me because I have worked for internet development and software engineering companies, so I have known these tricks for years, however if you have problems finding what you are after in the search engines or would like more specific search results, then read on.

This article describes briefly terms you may or may not have already heard about and will give you some quick tips to finding information that is useful and accurate on the search engines (well of course that depends on the quality of the content but we have no control over that)

Now, I know this article is a little old and there are probably newer and more comprehensive articles out there, but I believe it will still help you a lot . Read it

SEO For Small Business

Understanding the magic of metadata

Do you find search engine optimization (SEO) daunting, here is some SEO definitions to help you?

I read this article on Hubspot and thought I would share it with you. It offers great advice to small business managers and owners on the value of meta data on your website and a little about what it all means. Of course there is a LOT more too it, but it will get you started.

As part of this analysis process, one area that we look at is the ‘meta-data’ elements of the site.  This concept is often new to the small business executives I talk to, so I thought it’d be helpful to provide a simple description of what it is and why it’s important.  As is the case with prior articles in this series, if you’re an uber-techie and already grok all this stuff, feel free to save a bookmark to this article for the next time a business-type asks you what meta-data is.  It will save you 10 minutes of your life that you can’t get back. After you have read it, I would love you to post your comments on this page. If you need more advice I would be happy to help, just email me.

How To Grow Your Site & Increase Traffic

Below is a small list of little things you can do to start increasing traffic to your website. Once you have a product to offer or some useful information you can start attracting more attention. Have you implemented all these marketing strategies. I am still working on some of them:

  1. Create useful content
  2. Update your useful content regularly. Today’s web audience expects to see fresh, unique material, and having regularly updated content will keep them coming back (don’t forget to sign up for my blog)
  3. Build sticky and interactive pages on your website including discussion boards, comment capability and anything else that helps build a community (include sharing buttons) if you have the time to monitor it
  4. Seek out partnerships with other people with email lists to promote your website (would you like to partner with me, if yes, please sign up to my blog and email me. I am currently developing an awesome product for family and small business that you might like to be part of)
  5. RSS feeds are a great way to keep visitors informed of fresh content on your site
  6. Create an affiliate program to promote your products and services (working on that one myself)
  7. Use SEO techniques to get listed naturally at the top of Google, Yahoo and other search engines (I achieved this on 2 sites)
  8. Podcasting is a great way to build a regular audience and keep them coming back, see http://www.feedforall.com/videos/what-is-podcasting.htm
  9. Invest in PPC advertising (ie. Adwords) to drive targeted traffic to your website, see http://www.google.com.au/intl/en/adwords/webinars/index.html
  10. Create a blog with fresh content that builds a regular audience. Use the following tool to find out which blog software is right for you http://www.weblogmatrix.org – I use WordPress or Blogger
  11. Build profiles on popular social networking sites such as MySpace, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. Use your profiles to connect to others with similar interests and send them to your site, see http://www.linkedin.com/in/michellepavel and http://twitter.com/bestbuys4biz and http://www.facebook.com/michellepavel
  12. Invest in other forms of free and cheap advertising including banner advertising – visit http://www.fasterprofits.com.au  for a full list.

SEO training for women in business

Discover how to get top search results using SEO strategies

About 3 years ago I started to really get into seo training. I created some blogs and websites and through trial and error I now have the skills to create a website and list it on the 1st page of Google and other search engines, within 1 day.

This alone drives traffic to my websites, where I provide free business advice on a number of topics including continual improvement, marketing, quality assurance, performance, search engine optimization (SEO), and more.

how to be on google first page

Seeing your website listed on Google's first page - priceless!

Stop wondering how the heck ‘SEO’ can help you and your business and find out now?

Ranking on Google has helped me to gain credibility, with a leading American internet radio company inviting me to host my own radio show for small business (more than 1.6m followers per month); I have been listed as a women to look out for on ‘The Marketing to Women Initiative’ partner network; and I have received an offer to publish my articles on some leading business websites that have over 200,000 followers.

For me, that is so exciting because I love it (this picture really does depict my reaction when I see my sites up the list on the 1st page) and it is my dream to teach women in business how to use the internet to gain credibility and sell their products and/or services.

For you, you should be excited too, because I am going to (more…)
