Why did you come up with the name BestBuys4Business? |
Following some internet research into search engine placement I chose this name because 'best buys' and 'business' were two of the most popular search terms used, so i am hoping it helps me to rank higher (even though the experts say not to put a number in there). However, and more importantly, I chose the name to demonstrate clearly what I plan to provide, which is the 'best buys for business'. Providing quality, up to date information that is very affordable and easy to understand and will help small business with their success. |
Why did you choose to start up a 'new to business' website rather than just consulting business? |
Because I feel that the information and advice I can offer should be shared around as far as possible. I have offered similar services for the past 15-20 years for numerous Australian companies (small and large) and now it is time to focus on other areas of interest, such as product development, writing and desktop publishing.

How long have you been marketing? |
I have been doing various forms of marketing for around 10 years, but have always had a keen interest in it. As copyrighting and design are part of desktop publishing it has really been something I have been doing unknowingly for quite some time. Over the last 12 months I have been researching huge amounts of information/secrets from the internet gurus (millionaires who really know what they are talking about). I have listened to CDs, MP3s, read books, ebooks, reviewed products and software and more. I feel I am amply equiped to provide business with sound advice and great marketing tips that don't cost the earth, but can help business improve their sales by up to 1000% and even more.

How can your expertise help me develop my business? |
Because my experience includes a range of business development interests, I can pretty much assure any small business owner that I can improve their business for further development. Identifying areas of improvement, alone, will help a small business move closer to any future dreams and goals. Helping small business develop and implement those improvements will definitely put a business on the right track by helping the owner(s) to identify and write down their objectives, issues, benefits, features and so on.

Why is a quality system so important? |
A quality system does not have to be a complicated system that adheres to particular industry standards. The industry quality standards can simply be used as a guide for business to develop their policies, processes and procedures to help their business' workers and Customers understand what the business has to offer, the direction it is going in, how it produces quality products/services and so on.

Where did you come up with the idea to develop your own products |
Because I have such a keen interest in marketing, I went looking for lots of free information to help develop my existing thirst for knowledge. When I acquired that knowledge I was flooded with ideas to build a variety of business, all complimentary to each other. I also have 2 foolscap notebooks with ideas not related to small business development and ways to improve on the techniques and tips even the gurus are providing. |
